Selamat hari raya~

Assalamualaikummmm....

Alhamdulillah dah selesai pun kita menunaikan ibadah pose... Kullu 'am wa antum tayyibin... Taqaballahuminna waminkun... Tahun nih, 1st time ktorg beraya kat mesir nih... Sepanjang ktorg belajar kat sini, ktorg pakat2 balik malaysia every time summer break... Tapi tahun nih, ktorg tak dapat beraya kat malaysia sebab final exam yg nak dekat... Satu rumah pakat tak nak balik sbb klu balik msia mesti ktorg tak study... Ada jer yang balik, alhamdulillah, itu rezeki mereka dapat balik dan diorg nih ada kekuatan yg luar biasa nak study kat msia. Thumb's up for them... Well, as yang tak balik, ktorg kena lah beraya kat egypt nih... So, ktorg prepare lah sedikit sebanyak nak mimic raya kat msia... 

One of it is biskut raya

1st homemade biskut raya is biskut makmor... Resepi from bonda pot aka fa-aja-aja... 

2nd cornflakes coklat... Resepi, cari kat internet, and ubah suai ikut apa yg ada kat dapur...Sepatutnya ada cup dia, tp xjumpa cup kecik2 tuh (malas nak kuar panas2 summer nih) Jd nyer, letak atas baking sheet, after dah sejuk masuk dlm bekas besar... 2nd day raya lagi dah habis... Haha... 

3rd kuih raya is biskut mazola... Resepi by my aunt... 

Sekarang dlm proses nak habis kan biskut makmor dan biskut mazola... Every time tgk movie study group, semua biskut ada dpn laptop atas meja... Haha... Opppsss! Mcm makan jer lebih xp

Itu cerita untuk biskut raya... 

Klu kat msia, mesti ada rendang, ketupat, lemang, lontong, kuah kacang dan etc... Alhamdulillah, ktorg dapat buat almost all of it... 

Kat sini nak crt mcm mana nak buat rendang ayam... Tp resepi nih xada sukatan, pandai agak2 ajer... Dan resepi nih dah diubah suai ikut apa yang ada kat egypt dan apa yg ada lagi stok yg ktorg import dari msia.....

Bahan2:

Bawang merah-setengah blend n stengah lagi racik.. Nih bukan bwg merah, nih bawang besar... Kat sini xada bwg merah kecik2...

Bawang putih-sama macam bwg merah tadi

Kunyit- diblend [gmbr lupa amik :p] import dr msia... Tp bleh jer guna serbuk kunyit...

Cili boh-sepatutnya ada cili padi jugak, tp xada stok... Hehe... Both of it kena guna...

Halia- kat sini ada jual fresh halia kat A2Z hypermarket atau bleh guna serbuk halia yg jual kat kedai2 rempah...

Serai- a day before raya baru dapat serai... Beli dari ustaz kat cairo...

Santan- lupa amik gmbr daaa... haha.. Ktorg guna santan tin jerrr... Hehe... 

Kerisik- ktorg import dr msia... =p Tp bleh jer buat sendiri...

Ayam- org panggil nih ayam daging... Bkn ayam kampung... Klu ayam kampung, lambat empuk...

Bahan2 yg lain yg xada stok: lengkuas and cili padi...

Cara2: sng jer... Campurkan semua bahan tadi dlm satu periuk besar (kecuali santan dan kerisik) Periuk ktorg nih masih xcukup besar ikutkan... 

Then, gaul...

Dah gaul, perap ayam dalam 2-3 jam... Sbb nih ayam daging, kita xyah masak lama sgt... Takut hancur... Lepas dah perap, on api, after 5 min, bleh masukkan trus santan... 

Then, bila dah kering skit, letak lah kerisik... So, after a while... Jadilah mcm kat gmbr kat bawah nih... Klu nak lagi kering, just biar jer atas api... Klu nak jadi serunding, biar lah lagi lama xp

Ktorg kena bahagi kan dua rendang nih, sbb tak cukup ruang nak kacau...

This is my mother's recipes... Tak pernah pun terfikir utk buat sendiri. Selama nih just tengok mak masak n buat mcm mana jer... Tp alhamdulillah, lepas lah gian nak makan rendang raya2 nih... Hehe... sebelum, sedang dan selepas masak sikit2 wasap ngan mak.. risau takut tak jadi...huhu...

Mesti korng pelik kan knp ktorg buat banyak sgt rendang?? Haha... Ktorg buat utk potluck utk raya pertama...

So, apa jerlah yang ktorg buat raya nih?? Haha... Stay tune... Dah ponek(penat) taip! InsyaAllah sambung lagi esk yer...

our first concert together...

salam'alaik...

last Saturday, there was festival for celebrating our seniors graduation one day long... 

in the morning we fight for our pediatrics exam. so, we don't participate in the morning.. and miss the most exciting part-the graduation itself, where our senior taking their degree certificate.. but, alhamdulillah, when arrived at the conference hall where the graduation ceremony is taking place, a few seniors are there and we can snap a picture or two with them and congratulate them... 

in the evening, we volunteering in Zagazig medical team in doing medical check up for visitors... that day we  got our new vest ;) 

 

that evening, we attend a nasyid concert =D inteam is coming all the way from malaysia... we dress up a bit... here we are ;)

the concert start on 6.30 pm in tentative, but, in real, it start on 7.00pm.. the concert cost us about LE 20 for package D... it is a bit far behind, but, its okay.. 

it started with 'dhikir barat' performance from kelatans' student.. after that inteam perform for about 2 or 3 hours i think... a few song they sang that i can recall, 'setanggi syurga', 'nur kasih', 'akrab persahabatan', 'ya hanana', a few zikir, their new song and etc.

  the concert finished at 11.30 pm if i'm not mistaken (too tired already that time...)

the picture is taken from where i sit, and using my phone.. so, it is a bit far and poor quality :(

alhamdulillah, everyone satisfied and enjoy the performance... a good way to release tension from exam that morning... at the end, everyone complaining of tired [a long day of non rest, with mentally, emotionally and physical exhausted] and the next day we got classes, so, after solat, all of us went to the dreamland =P hehe... 

so, that is the story from last saturday...
